White House Illustrations

I was selected to contribute illustrations for the 2015 and 2016 White House Holiday Tour Book, with thousands of copies distributed after White House holiday receptions. My 2016 contributions included full-page illustrations of the White House for the front and back covers and illustrations to support the First Lady’s Initiatives “Let Girls Learn” (decorations with ‘girls’ written in 11 languages) and “Let’s Move” (a colorful wreath with fruit and veggies). My 2015 contributions were three nutcrackers, a peacock, and a Christmas tree with bluebirds. I conceptualized the illustrations to support the color of the particular room described in the Tour Book, and the theme and meaning of the White House decorations.
